WordPress Development Intern

WordPress developers design, develop and host websites and ecommerce portals using the WordPress and WooCommerce creation tools. They are responsible for both front-end and back-end development, including the implementation of themes and plugins. Their goal is to create attractive and user-friendly websites and ecommerce portals according to customer requirements. They have good understanding of aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on).

We are looking for passionate WordPress Development Interns to join our team. You will be responsible to design, develop and host attractive and functional websites and ecommerce portals for our customers. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of WordPress and WooCommerce themes and plugins as well as integrations and security updates.

To be a successful WordPress developer, you should have in-depth knowledge and understanding of WordPress, WooCommerce, programming languages, good eye for aesthetics, and strong content management skills. Ultimately, a top-class WordPress developer can create attractive, user-friendly websites and ecommerce portals that perfectly meet the design and functionality specifications of the client.

Your Responsibilities

• Learn and master the skills of WordPress and WooCommerce development.

Our Requirements

• Completed Graduation and/or Post-Graduation.
• Knowledge and understanding of WordPress and WooCommerce design and development.
• Knowledge and understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Knowledge and understanding of PHP, MVC Framework and OOPs concepts.
• Knowledge and understanding of AJAX, JSON, XML, Microservices.
• Knowledge and understanding of consuming and building robust, SOAP and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge and understanding of LAMP, MAMP, WAMP and XAMPP.
• Knowledge and understanding of SQL and NoSQL Databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with WP Astra themes and Elementor website builder.
• Ability to work and manage multiple projects.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Your Career Growth Plan

• Intern- The first two months is Internship with zero stipend.
• Trainee - The next ten months, the starting salary will be Rs.24,000/- per month.
• Junior - The next twelve months, the starting salary will be Rs.30,000/- per month.
• Associate – The next twelve months, the starting salary will be Rs.36,000/- per month.
• Senior Associate - The next twelve months, the starting salary will be Rs.40,000/- per month.
• The above-mentioned salaries are indicative and totally depends on your performance, capabilities, skills and contribution in the business.
• The above-mentioned salary indications are CTC calculations, inclusive of fixed and variable components.
